Enrique received a B.A. in International Business from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, completing his last semester in the University of Innsbruck, Austria. Coming from a background in restaurant management (Arturo’s Restaurant has been owned/managed by his father for 47 years), and working with the SBA during college, he leveraged their resources to open his first restaurant, Café Picasso, in 1995. Soon after, using his International education, he opened a commercial cleaning business, LavaMex, in Mexico, followed by the launch of Everfresh, a water distribution company in Nassau, Bahamas. In 1998 he and a business partner opened his second restaurant, La Veranda, followed by a successful, eight-year food and beverage contract with a local Best Western Hotel. In 2006, and as a chronic entrepreneur Enrique, helped launch his most exciting company, Bibisi, which is a mobile and social technology company winning several marketing and technology excellence awards.
